Black and White

This book is somewhat of a mystery….  It makes you can go deep into the character of two teenage boys–one gets blamed for murder and one gets freedom.  One boy’s dreams are extinguished, and one boy’s dreams are lived.

Darren and Steve are friends, who love soccer, and creepy things. And then the freak show comes to town, and everything changes! I didn’t expect to enjoy this book, but in the end I couldn’t put it down and was running to get the next one in the series.  If you’ve seen the movie, you might be pleasantly surprised how much better the movie is!

Being by Kevin Brooks

Posted by tgrafton on February 23, 2010

being

This book was very enjoyable because I showed you how the main character, Robert Smith felt about being hunted down because something was “wrong” with him. But with help, he is able to make it for a while…. You may find yourself trying to read this book in one sitting but, try not to. The only thing I didn’t like was the somewhat violent nature of it.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

harrypotter

This book is the last book in the Harry Potter series. There are a lot of twists and turns in this book, and lots of surprises. If you haven’t read the series before the last book (7) which is this book, you may want to consider reading the other 6, because it may be difficult to understand what is going on. The vocabulary is also very strong. In the story, Harry and his 2 best friends, Ron Weasly and Hermione Granger, set off to defeat Lord Voldemort, the evil “Dark Lord”, once and for all. The setting mostly takes place at Hogwarts, the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but as they journey farther and farther into the book, the setting changes and the situations become scarier and more difficult as they get closer and closer to meeting Voldemort. In this book, lots of things happen to Harry’s relatives and close friends, that change him forever. This is the best book yet! No part of it is boring!! i definatly recommend this book! :)))
